We are challenging our entire city to come TOGETHER this year and to do TWO things… to make it extra special for the kids, especially the BRAVE ones battling childhood cancer…

1) Decorate your home for the holidays, whether it be 1 strand or 100 strands of lights. Get outside with your neighbors and help one another out. Let’s Light Up this City!!

2) Make DONATION... - you can make a $10 Donation and receive a sign to place in your yard. If you have a sign from 2011 you can make a donation to the CAN for KIDS or bring new toys to be donated. 100% of proceeds will bless families at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House, who will be spending Christmas in the hospital with their child.

Next Sign Distribution

Next Distribution will be Saturday morning the 3rd!! We will be at the Starbucks on Sunset next to Bel Air from 8:30-10am!! Come out and support a great cause! If signs have not arrived we will be taking your information and will personally deliver to your house!! THANKS ROCKLIN!  We have raised almost $800 so far for the families!!!  Let's see if we can reach the sale of the 200th sign this weekend!!

Signs are on their way!!!

Yeah...we have sold over 100 signs!  More are on their way!!  We currently have a list going of people who have paid for one.  They will be delivered to your yard when they arrive!!  HURRY and get one before they are gone again!  You can email...lvandenakker@viedu.org!!  We will be out this weekend selling as well...times and details to come...keep checking the blog or facebook!!

START DECORATING!!

Hope everyone is getting their lights ups and decorating their homes!  We'd love to see our whole city with LIGHTS this year!  We passed out many signs this week and weekend!  If you would like one we will be distributing them next weekend sometime.  We would love to get you one earlier though!  Please email lvandenakker@viedu.org and let me know that you want one.  We can get you one!!!!  Merry Christmas Rocklin!  Let's Light Up the City for the Kids and bless many families at the Ronald McDonald house!

SIGNS HAVE ARRIVED!!!

The yard signs have arrived and they look GREAT!!  We will be at the Starbucks on Lonetree (near movie theaters and RC Wiley) on BLACK FRIDAY (November 25th)!!  You can get your sign there between 6-9am!!  We will have other distribution times as well...but we only have a certain number of signs...SO GET YOURS FIRST!!
